Application

· HARDUN series pit gas carbo-nitriding furnaces are used for carbon and nitrogen penetrated

     into surface of workpieces to obtain hardness, wear resistance and anti-fatigueness.

·They can be used for low, medium and high carbon steel workpieces, such as heavy load

    gears, pins, shafts and small parts which demanding wear and fatigue resistance.

  

Product   Feature

· Liners of HARDUN series pit gas carbo-nitriding furnaces are of high quality and energy
      saving;

· We use vacuum sealing fan to increase furnace pressure and temperature uniformity;

· Carbon potential atmosphere is even, carburizing speed is high, and carburizing layer is 
    uniform;

·  With novel design of muffle pot, the uniformity of carbon potential and furnace temperature is

      increased;

· Highly automated, control precision of temperature and carbon potential is high, the

     furnace is efficient, durable and easy to operate.

 

Product   Option

· For  temperature and carbon potential control system of HARDUN series carbo-nitriding
     furnaces, Users can choose home made or imported ones.

·  Users can choose quick air cooling system.

·  Customers can order carburizing furnace, quenching oil tank, water tank, retarded cooling

     pot, tempering furnace to make up a production line.

Carbonitriding   Theory

Under certain temperature, the heat treatment technology which penetrate carbon and nitrogen into workpiece surface austenite(mainly carburizing) is defined Carbo-nitriding, it is usually used for treatment of car gears or gears of other machines, worms, shafts and so on.

The Nitro-carburizing technology(mainly nitriding) is defined soft nitriding, which is widely used for moulds, measuring tools, high speed steel and so on.


Compared with carburizing, carbonitriding has features below:

1. lower heating temperature, lesser workpiece deformation

2. short production cycle

3. carbonitriding layer is of high hardness, wear resistance and antifatigueness
