Application · HARDUN series pit gas nitriding furnaces can be used for gas nitriding heat treatment for various steel parts, car spares, motorbike brake disc, mould and etc. · It helps to increase nitrogen content of workpiece surface and improve surface hardness, wear-resistance, anti-fatigue ability and anti-gelatining performance. · The lining of HARDUN series pit gas nitriding furnaces are made of high quality and energy saving composite material. The cover is made of fiber, it is a double water-cooled cover and it works with high efficiency , and it possesses good leak-proof ability. · Temperature of heating area is controlled by even voltage. This product possesses characteristics of even temperatureã€high carburizing speed and a long life. · There is a stainless vacuum pot. · There is microcomputer temperature control system to control technology craft automatically. Nitriding Theory Definition: Nitriding is chemical heat treatment process that make active nitrogen atom into workpiece surface under certain temperature. Purpose： Nitriding helps to improve hardness of workpiece surface, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and fatigue strength. Gas Nitriding: It is nitriding process with gas medium, first, we put workpiece into HARDUN Series Gas Nitriding Furnace for heating, then we let in gas with nitrogen or organic liquid containing nitrogen, which produce active nitrogen atom after decomposition under high temperature, finally, nitrogen atom go into workpiece surface. Compared with carburizing, nitriding has features listed below : need quenching after nitriding. 2. Low nitriding temperature and slight workpiece deformation. 3. Nitriding workpiece possess good corrosion-resistant ability, which can prevent vapour and alkaline solution corrosion.
