Application

·   HARDUN series large pit gas carburizing furnaces are mainly used for carburizing of steel

      parts to increase surface hardness、wear resistance and fatigue resistance.

· It can be used for carburizing of low-carbon steel and alloy steel, and also quenching-and

      tempering of medium–carbon steel.

·   It can be used for gas carburizing or carbonitriding of large workpieces.

Product   Feature 

·  Furnace lining of HARDUN series large pit gas carburizing furnace is high quality and

    energy saving.

·  There is a sealing fan to increase furnace pressure and temperature uniformity.

·  The carbon atmosphere is even, carburizing speed is high, and carburizing layer is well

     distributed.

·  With novel design of muffle pot, the uniformity of carbon potential and furnace temperature is

      increased.

· We adopt microcomputer to control temperature craft, it is very accurate.

·  Users can choose ordinary or automatic carbon potential control instrument .

·  As for temperature control unit, users can choose home made or imported ones.

·  Users can choose quick cooling system with air.

·  According to customer's requirements,  the furnace and hardening oil tank、water tank、

   retarded cooling pot、tempering furnace can make up a production line .

    made to order.

notes:  1.  HD is the abbreviation for "Hardun Furnace" and the following letters refer to furnace type. The middle number is furnace power and the last number is furnace temperature.

Carburizing  Theory

Definition:  In order to increase carbon content and carbon concentration gradient of steel surface, we put steel workpiece into carburizer for heating and holding, which makes carbon atom penetrate into surface layer, we call this chemical process “carburizing”.

Purpose： Carburizing helps to improve hardness of workpiece surface, wear resistance, contact fatigue strength and bending fatigue resistance.

Gas Carburizing:  It is carburizing process with gas carburizer, first, we put workpiece into HARDUN Series Gas Carburizing Furnace for heating, then we let in gas with carbon or organic liquid containing carbon, which produce active atom after decomposition under high temperature, finally, carbon atoms penetrate into workpiece surface.
